RM Sits Front Row at Bottega Veneta, Sparking Further Speculation That a Brand Deal May Be Coming

The BTS leader made an appearance at the Italian label’s Fall 2023 show on Saturday.

Another day, another BTS appearance at fashion week. 

On Saturday, RM — née Kim Namjoon — sat front row at the Bottega Veneta Fall 2023 show in Milan. (A few days ahead of the Milan Fashion Week showing, he showed off an Andiamo bag he’d received as a gift from the brand on Instagram, sparking speculation that he might be attending the event and further fueling theories that he could potentially become an official ambassador.) 

The rapper, songwriter, producer and leader of BTS kept it cool and relaxed for his first-ever fashion show, in black slacks, a black raised-collar jacket and a white top peaking through, accessorized with burgundy leather boots. You can’t go wrong with minimalism and comfort, after all.

This is only the latest example of a beloved BTS member attending a fashion event in 2023: Suga caught our eyes at Valentino’s haute couture show, as did J-Hope at Louis Vuitton and Jimin at Dior Men. The group’s growing roster of brand deals is cementing their presence in the industry — and with this latest gift from RM at Bottega Veneta (an inspired pairing, given the artist’s love of fine art and Matthieu Blazy’s continued collaboration with contemporary artists), we can’t complain.
