And here’s a hint at the handbag that’s going to be everywhere this fall.
With Milan Fashion Week officially coming to a close, it’s time for us to reflect on the highlights of the season. Sure, the shows were amazing (see: Gucci, Ferragamo, Prada), but what people wore to them was just as newsworthy.
Some of the biggest trends of the past year met their Milan edit. Where Italian style is known for being classy and sophisticated, some dressed as its antitheses: Imagine a marled hoodie styled with oversized jeans and a long coat, “Big Lebowski”-style. Tiny Diesel bags were seen with distressed denim and wildly creative shoes. Also spotted: rosettes, neutrals and metallic details.
