It’s just a simple fact: Some handbags are hard to look at without immediately feeling an intense desire. And Fall 2023 runways across Milan are no doubt stirring up a passionate, widespread sense of yearning due to their sheer stylishness.
Imagine carrying Moschino’s bike jacket bag, with its refresh of bejeweled flower motifs, or Fendi’s shoulder bag covered in monogram-clasped exterior pockets… like chic cargo pants — as a bag! Diesel printed open-mouth smiles on its purses, while Max Mara had duffels the color of milk chocolate. Few leaned into monograms, but Gucci couldn’t resist throwing its double G print on a clutch. Whether trendy and Y2K inspired, outlandishly oversized or simple and classic, there’s a new bag in town fit for almost any aesthetic.
