Paris Fashion Week‘s Fall 2023 season has officially come to a close, leaving us to reflect on the collections — as well as the see-through skirts, emo eyeliner and star-studded front rows we saw off the runways. We’re also taking a moment to soak up some beauty inspiration from attendees, who seemed particularly game to experiment with fun and innovative hair and makeup.
Outside the French shows, folks piled on the hair accessories, donning standby pieces like barrettes and headbands, but also less-expected items like mini hair Birkins (?) and straight-razor blades (????). Showgoers also embraced the avant-garde with their makeup, wearing bold looks like red eye shadow, graphic liner and face gems on the streets of Paris.
