Think: Platform sandals and metallic pumps.

The Spring 2020 season stops for no one: just as soon as it came, the London installment has come to a close. With it, we have rounded up the footwear that we will all be obsessing over come springtime — and we can hardly wait.

The footwear options at London Fashion Week were just as diverse as the clothing. Perhaps the most pervasive trend was the sheer variety of platform sandals. Unlike those on display in New York, the platforms across the pond were more delicate and were often made of an espadrille material. At Simone Rocha, they came embellished with massive crystals and long leather straps that tied at the ankle. At Ports 1961, they featured mixed leathers in shades of pink and red combined with animals prints and metallics.

The selection of heels was just as diverse. Burberry showed relatively simple designs, save for the massive gold disks hanging off of them. On the complete other side of the spectrum, Marques’Almeida showed off bold pointed-toe options in fiery shades of red topped with massive feathers. J.W Anderson‘s offerings were clear with translucent crystal embellishments, a modern play on Cinderella’s fantastical glass slippers. Finally, it wouldn’t be London without a touch of British tradition: versions of the classic black loafer appeared on the runways at Roland Mouret, Toga and David Koma

Take a look at all these (plus a fun neon pair of stilettos at Natasha Zinko) in the gallery below.
