What to Wear to a Wedding This Summer

By now, your attendance has been confirmed and your entrée selected. Now, it’s time to sort out your ensemble for all those summer weddings on your calendar.

Dressing for the dog days is tricky enough — add dress codes and unstated-but-understood rules (minimizing exposed skin, avoiding solid white, etc.), and finding the right thing to wear can be a massive challenge. Depending on the setting (and formality of the event), a comfortable mini or midi dress will help battle the heat; if it’s a black-tie affair, opt for an airy maxi made with breathable materials to dance the night away without breaking a sweat. Personally, I love the ease of a romper or jumpsuit, or even a dress with sleeves. (Even tropical destinations get chilly at sundown.)

Ahead, we’ve rounded up some stellar wedding-guest dresses perfect for summer affairs.
