The New Arrivals Sections Worth Browsing for Spring, According to Our Editors

Photo: Christian Vierig/Getty Images

As a new season approaches, all Fashionista editors simultaneously become infected with a contagion known as The Shoppies. (Add that to the growing list of emerging pandemics — it can even spread through Slack!) Brands wisely start alerting us of their first spring drops at the exact moment we start developing a disdain for the stale winter items we’ve been wearing non-stop for months, resulting in an all-consuming need to peruse our favorite brands’ and stores’ new arrivals sections. The treatment — buying things — is expensive and sadly not covered by our insurance. At least we don’t need to use up any sick days since this is actually part of our jobs.

This market research, if you will, has yielded some excellent finds, covering all spring trends and wardrobe needs, which we of course would never gatekeep. From new Alex Mill denim styles, to St. Agni’s latest handbag assortment, to the springiest of spring dresses from Simone Rocha and Reformation, find our picks for the best new fashion drops below.

“Alex Mill is known for its high-quality basics and simple silhouettes, and that certainly rings true for the brand’s new arrivals. There’s a fresh denim drop that’s full of classic pieces sure to stand the test of time (I particularly love the Bev Relaxed Jean in Ecru and Marfa Denim Work Jacket), crewneck cashmere sweaters, relaxed poplin button downs and a waxed cotton barn jacket I’d love to wear all spring long — and for many more to come.” —Steph Saltzman, Beauty + Style Director

Here you can find accessibly priced must-haves including tailored capri pants, drop-waist and bubble-hem mini dresses, lightweight workwear-inspired jackets, easy linen staples and new interpretations of the brand’s beloved Sweatfleece loungewear.” —Dhani Mau, Editor in Chief

“Though I’m still very much bundled in cable-knit sweaters these days, I’m daydreaming about Dôen’s timeless springtime wardrobe of lightweight cardigans and breezy patterned skirts. The new arrival I’m currently salivating over? The Los Angeles-based brand’s Monette polka dot mini dress, which combines a chic boatneck silhouette with a touch of ’60s playfulness.” —Catie Pusateri, Contributing Writer

“As far as I’m concerned, Emme Parsons is the reigning champ of quiet luxury footwear. For spring, the brand already has me wanting to pre-order its strappy satin sandals in both the flat and heeled varieties and T-strap suede block heels. I’m also super into the minimalist nappa leather flat thong sandals (very Olsen-coded), and ivory tapered square-toe Mary Janes.” —Steph

“Every time I take the bait and scroll through Ganni’s website, it feels like a punishment, because I want everything and walk away with nothing. Its latest offerings are, once again, a stab to the heart with its sartorial treasures: I love how so many of the pieces are both timeless and contemporary, like the puff sleeve trench coat, graphic-print oversized mini dress and office-worthy Black Bonded Crepe Blazer. Don’t even get me started on the accessories, which include additional colorways of Ganni’s iconic Buckle Ballerinas that I still(!) have yet to secure. (Seriously, who do I need to email?)” —Janelle Sessoms, Staff Writer

“Each time I log onto the Guest In Residence site, I feel like I’ve entered an ice cream- and candy-coated knit wonderland. Dramatic? Maybe. But Gigi Hadid’s knack for a gorgeously vivid color scheme never fails to lure me into her brand’s latest drops. Plus, who doesn’t love welcoming some new cashmere into their wardrobe? For spring, I especially love the Baja Everywear Cardigan in fuchsia, the Collegiate Stripe Polo in blue and the Picnic Plaid Short in cream.” —Brooke Frischer, Staff Writer + Social Media Manager

Good American

“It’s seriously so hard for me to find denim that fits my wider hips without gapping at the waist, so I have to give my flowers to Khloe Kardashian and Emma Grede for nailing the perfect fit and making me a certified Good American fan. (I won’t applaud that family for much, but I know when to give credit where credit is due.) For spring, I’m especially eyeing its Denim Mini Skirt and Bombshell Rhinestone Shorts. (The latter may be just what I need for the ‘Cowboy Carter’ tour.) But no skinny jeans, ew.” — Janelle

Honor The Gift

“Inspired by the nostalgia of vintage cars in the ’90s, Honor The Gift’s Spring 2025 collection includes plenty of fun structured jackets and patterned pant sets that I have my eye on. In my cart, I currently have a graphic hoodie featuring an image of a speed bike, an Auto Shop Camp Shirt with the word ‘Honor’ embroidered across the pocket and a pair of two-toned striped jeans.” —Brooke

Leset

Nia

“It’s rare that I love every item I try on from a brand, and even rarer that said pieces fit me perfectly, but such is the case with this emerging independent label. The Los Angeles-based brand never has a shortage of new, covet-worthy dresses (this off-shoulder maxi dress hugs me like a glove), cute co-ord sets (obsessing over the scalloped edges of this knit cardi and short set) or even tailored workwear for the office — all for less than $200.” —Savannah Sitton, Market + Branded Content Editor

Reformation

“Ref is crowd-favorite year-round, but if there’s one thing it does especially well, it’s adorable hot-weather attire. I personally frequently its ‘new arrivals’ page in search of well-tailored blouses, trendy-yet-timeless dresses and covet-worthy sets. Offering a range of aesthetics — from preppy (like this cotton-knit tennis dress), to retro, to even edgy pieces like these studded jeans of my dreams — and extended sizing options, the brand really has something for all this season.” —Savannah

“No matter my plans — be it a destination wedding or red-carpet event — I can always rely on Retrofête for something that I truly feel stunning in, and its latest collection is further evidence of that. The celeb-beloved ‘It’-girl brand is revered for its going-out attire, be it a polished suit with a sultry flair, a silk gown for black-tie affairs or this new hand-strung pearl top. Don’t miss the party-ready accessories as well: The costume jewelry, handbags and footwear selections are full of pieces that scream, ‘Invite me somewhere, literally anywhere, please.'” —Savannah

Rumored

“If I had to pick one brand to replace my entire wardrobe, it would be this East Coast label. Between Rumored’s constant trendy drops and accessible price point, I’m constantly recommending it. You’ve likely already seen some of the brand’s bestsellers on a host of celeb fans (Emily Ratajkowski, Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, etc.), like its lacy dresses, viral swimwear or the suede jacket that can’t stay in stock. Its spring ‘Coastal Keepsakes’ collection, comprising pieces made to layer for transitional seasons, is my ideal wardrobe for the spring and summer months ahead.” —Savannah

Sandy Liang

“I’m just a girl. Of course, the Sandy Liang website stays open on my computer 24/7. If I listed out every item I wanted to buy, you’d be reading this blurb for a very long time, so I’ll keep my selections as concise as possible. There’s a very sweet mini dress in a pink floral jacquard that’s making me want to skip through a field of daisies listening to Liang’s pop-heavy runway soundtrack, a pair of grey pants with a cheeky white ruffle trim around the waist and a mini trench-style jacket that likely wouldn’t cover me much from any rain, but I’d definitely look cute running home in it!” —Brooke

Simone Rocha

“There’s rarely a day I’m not obsessively thinking about Simone Rocha, and the designer’s latest collection is certainly no exception. For Spring 2025, she embroidered and embellished various sizes of carnations onto cardigans, tops and jeans — all of which I must have immediately. Beyond the floral decorations, the brand also released the frilly multi-seam maxi dress of my tea-party dreams and painfully adorable ballerina heels to match. For a more everyday look, however, my eyes are locked tight on a cherry-red negligee tromp l’oeil T-shirt. —Brooke

“Staud is masterful at remixing and reimagining hits from its past collections in new iterations each season, but its Spring 2025 lineup also includes plenty of fresh silhouettes: I’m especially drawn to a striped chocolate-brown matching crop top and maxi skirt, baby-pink silk top, slouchy suede bag, vacation-ready knit mini dress, floral update on the brand’s bestselling beaded Le Sable dress and off-the-shoulder silk midi dress. (The latter’s pale-pink and moss-green colorways are begging to be worn to spring weddings.)” —Steph

The London-based brand exudes a fresh, modern elegance grounded in quality fabrics, seen in some of its newest drops: a resort-ready black halterneck gown, a dusty rose-colored silk dress and a sleek asymmetrical blazer. Basically, Camille Perry and Holly Wright are the designers of my aspirational spring closet.” —Catie
