Stray Kids’ Hyunjin named Versace’s new global brand ambassador
Amid K-pop‘s growing influence in culture and fashion, Versace tapped Hyunjin, one of the eight members of South Korean boy band Stray Kids, as its global brand ambassador. Hyunjin will front the Versace Holiday 2023 campaign. “I am delighted Hyunjin is joining the Versace family. I am constantly inspired by new voices defining culture around the world and for me Hyunjin has great new energy and creativity. I love his confidence and freedom of expression. Sadie Sink announced as Armani Beauty global ambassador
Armani Beauty has chosen actor Sadie Sink as its new global ambassador; Sink will star alongside Cate Blanchett in the brand’s Sì Eau De Parfum Intense campaign. “To me, Sì embodies both reason and emotion. It is an invitation to be passionate and free and to commit to total self-expression. And I see this in Sadie Sink, a talented young actor who said yes to her passion for film and acting at a tender age and whose commitment has seen her dream come true,” Giorgio Armani said in a press release. {Fashionista inbox}

Youth To The People names Omar Apollo ‘brand voice’
Skin-care brand Youth To The People tapped Grammy-nominated artist Omar Apollo to be its first-ever “brand voice.” Apollo is the face of the brand’s relaunched Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream and will also front future launches as the brand plans to grow into more skin and lifestyle categories. “Omar is a powerful yet relatable voice of his generation and shares many of the same values,” Global Brand President Gouzelle Ishmatova said in a press release. “When we learned he was a fan, we naturally gravitated toward a long-term partnership to truly integrate and realize his unique vision alongside ours.” {Fashionista inbox}

Maesa debuts beauty incubator program with $35,000 grant
Maesa, a company that grows beauty businesses, launched an annual beauty incubator program, the Maesa Magic Incubator, which will award three early-stage entrepreneurs in the beauty and wellness space with a $35,000 grant. Applicants must be pre-launch or have made less than $100,000 in sales to qualify. Along with the grant, the program also offers a 12-week curriculum providing tools to build successful beauty brands. Applications for the Maesa Magic Incubator program are now open and close Sept. 1. {Fashionista Inbox}
