Gen Z Took Over 'Variety''s 2024 Power of Young Hollywood

On Thursday night, Gen Z stole the spotlight at Variety‘s 2024 Power of Young Hollywood. Out of all the talent that strutted the red carpet, honorees and Variety cover stars Sabrina Carpenter, Sadie Sink and “Saturday Night Live”‘s Marcello Hernández were ones to watch.

Carpenter sparkled in a bejeweled nude floor-length gown and an enchanting curly updo, while Sink stunned in a slightly see-through Chanel black maxi dress, which she accessorized with a silver chain belt (she is a Chanel ambassador, after all). Plus, Hernández captured menswear’s signature cool with a matching slate grey jacket and trousers paired with a single silver necklace.

As for the night’s other standouts, chic black ensembles dominated the carpet, from Laufey’s lacey number to Joey King‘s punk-rock twist on a black suit with a top crafted from paper clips to Skai Jackson‘s bow-adorned LBD.
