Lisa Is Officially a Louis Vuitton Ambassador

Lisa of Blackpink is Louis Vuitton‘s newest house ambassador, the brand announced on Tuesday.

“I am very excited to welcome Lisa as a House Ambassador,” said Nicolas Ghesquière, artistic director of women’s collections at Louis Vuitton in a statement. “She has a daring spirit and charisma that I find incredibly compelling. She is as bold and creative with her music as she is with her fashion, and it is a privilege to accompany her on this journey.”

Though the official partnership is new, it isn’t exactly surprising: Earlier this year, Lisa began dropping subtle hints that this partnership was en route, wearing archival Stephen Sprouse pieces from the brand and carrying its signature Speedy bags here and there — then, she was one of the VIP guests at its Fall 2024 show during Paris Fashion Week. In June, Lisa released a single titled “Rockstar,” which includes the lyrics, “Tight dress, LV sent it. Oh shit, Lisa reppin’,” giving fans quite the Easter egg leading up to the formal announcement.

Lisa has had a longstanding relationship with LVMH, having been named a face of Celine in 2020. (It certainly adds fuel to speculation that Hedi Slimane might be on his way out, as the artist has been one of his main muses.) She’s also an ambassador for Bulgari, another one of the conglomerate’s brands.
