Blackpink's Jennie Collaborates With Calvin Klein

The collection of intimates and casual-wear is all about feeling good.

By now, we all know that Jennie Kim‘s sense of style is as versatile as her performances. She’s an ambassador for Chanel and Calvin Klein, often appearing in their campaigns — and now, she has her own collection with one of them.

Calvin Klein announced that it worked with the idol to create a capsule collection that’s all about wardrobe essentials. Jennie for Calvin Klein, which will be available on May 10, includes a range of matching bralette and bottoms, bodysuits and rib tanks designed to maximize comfort; there’s also a denim shirt and a pair of ’90s-inspired jeans that evoke that effortlessly chic look. Kim personally curated the color palette, and created personalized touches, such as custom branding that reimagines the Calvin Klein logo in her handwriting.

“Collaborating with Calvin Klein on this capsule has been an exciting progression in our partnership,” said Kim, in a statement. “This collection reflects my everyday style and is based on many of the Calvin Klein essentials that have become staples in my wardrobe. I wanted to bring a personal touch to these pieces, which you’ll see reflected in the fit, the color palette and the details. My aspiration for this collection is that everyone will feel as happy and confident in these pieces as I do.”

Jonathan Bottomley, the global chief marketing officer at Calvin Klein, also expressed his excitement on the partnership: “Having worked with Jennie on several campaigns, we know firsthand that she’s a cultural powerhouse. Her persona, talent and distinctive style have a major global impact,” he said.

Speaking of campaigns, the one for Jennie for Calvin Klein was photographed by Hong Jang Hyun. While Blackpink is often known for their maximalist on-stage style, Kim stripped it back in these images, opting for more simple and nude-toned pieces.

There are 17 pieces total, with prices ranging from $25 to $150. The collection will be available in select Calvin Klein stores and on calvinklein.com globally beginning May 10. See the Jennie for Calvin Klein lookbook, below.
