Just like that, Paris Fashion Week — and with it, Fall 2023 fashion month — has come and gone. The final (and longest) leg of shows is especially abundant in both quantity and quality, with many of the world’s most revered brands showcasing their latest work in the French capital. So, were the best collections saved for last? The answer is subjective, but if you ask us, the Fall 2023 runways in Paris did offer a lot worth taking a look back on.
Bookended by big names like Saint Laurent and Miu Miu, highlights of the week included Sarah Burton’s exquisite tailoring at Alexander McQueen, Julien Dossena’s tribute to the late Paco Rabanne, desirable surrealism at Loewe and Schiaparelli, buzzy collections by up-and-coming stars like Meryll Rogge and Roísín Pierce, plus much more
