February’s NYFW street style is not only about looking stylish, but it’s also about staying warm in the chilly New York weather. In many ways, it’s a tricky balancing act of trying to meld chicness with practicality under the gray winter sky.
On day two of the New York shows, fashion editors, influencers and other show-goers rose to the sartorial occasion, serving up plenty of cozy-yet-stylish outerwear looks. Alexa Chung donned a fluffy-collared black coat and Margaret Zhang wore a classy oversized trench, while other fashion week attendees embraced warm layers in unexpected patterns, rich textures and statement-making silhouettes.
