Celebrities Really Did the Thing at the 2023 SAG Awards

See all the best fashion from the red carpet.

We know actors love the SAG Awards because they’re being recognized by their peers — so it might not feel super surprising to see them make a real effort for that stop on the awards show circuit. Still, the red carpet for the 2023 ceremony was one of the strongest we’ve seen all season, with celebrities, to borrow a phrase from Ariana DeBose (who stunned in a hot-pink Prabal Gurung suit), doing the thing. 

Zendaya followed up an excellent showing at the NAACP Image Awards the previous evening in a strapless pale pink Valentino gown with rosettes cascading down the skirt. As did Quinta Brunson, who went for mermaid chic in a shell-front Jean-Louis Sabaji number. Michelle Yeoh continued to prove that her and Daniel Roseberry’s Schiaparelli are a phenomenal match, while Wes Gordon’s Carolina Herrera was responsible for four of our favorite looks from the whole carpet.
