Spring 2025 Fashion Month may be “over,” but runway shows are really only the first step in a complex process that culminates in the designs we see (or some version thereof) ending up in stores. After revealing their new collections, designers enter the market phase — inviting buyers into their showrooms to place orders for the upcoming season.
Buyers, in turn, must cut through the noise and hone in on the brands, trends and individual items most likely to resonate with their customers. So, as we do every season, we asked lead womenswear buyers at a few influential multi-brand retailers — including e-commerce giants Ssense and Net-a-Porter, as well as independent boutiques Essx and Antidote — which looks caught their eye throughout fashion weeks in New York, London, Milan and Paris.
Their answers are as unique as their customers, but overall there’s a lot of interest in elevated denim (especially Simone Rocha’s), sexy lingerie-inspired details and clean all-white ensembles. Keep scrolling to see what the buyers are buying from the Spring 2025 runways.
