The 2024 Olympics are in full swing, and as Team USA competes in Paris, our eye is on more than just their athletic prowess.
From bespoke uniforms to flawless makeup, fashion and beauty have had an important presence during the games, as well as Olympic trials. And nails are no exception: While some athletes chose classic nail looks for their moments in the Olympic spotlight, others went all-in on maximalist themed manicures to show their team spirit.
Standouts include shot-put competitor Raven Saunders’s single hand of gold-studded nails and gymnasts Jordan Chiles and Jade Carey’s red, white and blue designs. Suni Lee, Simone Biles and Tara Davis-Woodhall each went for elegant French tips — perhaps in subtle homage to the games’ host city?
