The 2024 Oscars mark the end of a long, much-discussed awards season race — and the stars and filmmakers of the year’s biggest movies didn’t hold back when it came to the final (and, arguably, most important) red carpet.
Nominee Colman Domingo capped off a triumphant sartorial streak in custom Louis Vuitton by Pharrell Williams. E! fashion commentator Laverne Cox, for her part, rounded out a series of archival Mugler moments with one for the books: a Spring 1985 Haute Couture silk lamé corset from her own collection, per Tab Vintage. Meanwhile, America Ferrera closed the book on “Barbie” with a perfectly-pink chainmail Versace gown.
