Each month, Fashionista editors try a *lot* of beauty products. And while not every formula we test is a winner, we’re constantly unearthing new favorites. Here, we’ve rounded up our latest hair, skin, fragrance, wellness and makeup discoveries — whether fresh-to-market drops or merely recent additions to our personal routines.

It never fails to amaze us how the shortest month in the year tends to be one of the most chaotic, and yet, there’s no better word to describe February. From the Grammys to Rihanna’s concert featuring football players, to fashion month, team Fashionista has been booked and busy staying up-to-date on the latest fashion tea. But even our booked-out calendars haven’t stopped us from trying out the hottest beauty and wellness products on the market.

In between sprinting to fashion shows and fawning over Zendaya’s return to the red carpet, we were swatching, swiping and smoothing our way through a whole load of new beauty products. In February, we discovered multifunctional skin care that serves as a foundation, sunscreen, serum and moisturizer all-in-one; several gentle pore-clearing solutions; a restorative body cream that perfectly hydrates dry winter skin and silky, curl-defining shampoo.

Scroll through the gallery below to see (and shop!) our new beauty and wellness favorites.

Oribe Hair Alchemy Strengthening Masque, $68, available here: “This hair mask carries a bit of a hefty price tag, but it also accomplishes a whole lot more than just standard moisturizing and conditioning. It boosts strands’ elasticity, which prevents breakage and damage; replenishes to correct brittleness; and seals the outer cuticle for smoothness and tons of shine — plus, it works on any texture, and doesn’t weigh down my ultra-fine hair.” —Stephanie Saltzman, Beauty Director

Dp Hue Gloss+ Conditioning Semi-Permanent Color, $37, available here: “When your hair is naturally curly, dry and frizzy, shine is tough to achieve. This at-home gloss makes it a lot easier, while also depositing just enough color to give my hair some much-needed dimension.” —Dhani Mau, Editor in Chief

Pat McGrath Labs Divine Blush + Glow Face Palette, $62, available here“Blush is a staple in my makeup routine, and I love how blendable the ultra-fine powder formula included in this palette is. I also like to combine the different shades for the perfect flush for my complexion.” —Angela Wei, Staff Writer

Canopy Humidifier, $150, available here: “This month I wrote about my favorite humidifier, the Canopy, which is not only cute as hell, but inhibits mold and is super easy to clean.” —Liza Sokol, Sr. Audience Development Manager

Three Ships Skin Hero Bakuchiol + Calendula Bio-Retinol Serum, $35, available here: “This creamy serum has absolutely helped me minimize some dark spots. After some recent stress breakouts, I’m starting to get back to baseline.” —Andrea Bossi, Staff Writer

Daybird Tinted Skincare, $39.50, available here: “I’m so not a morning makeup person, meaning I’m always on the hunt for multitasking products. This smooth formula serves as a foundation, moisturizer, serum and sunscreen all in one. I only need to use a few drops, and I’m ready to go for the day.” —Janelle Sessoms, Editorial Intern

MAC Cosmetics Matte Lipstick in Velvet Teddy, $22, available here: “I know, I’m super behind on realizing that this lip color is one of the ultimate nudes. I’ve been keeping it in my bag not just for touch-ups on my lips, but also to add a bit of blush to my cheeks throughout the day.” —Brooke Frischer, Contributing Writer

Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder Flushed, $25, available here: “I love cream blushes because they melt into skin and provide the most natural-looking finish — but this ‘blurring’ cream-to-powder formula takes that concept to the next level. I apply it with my fingertips in two seconds (it doesn’t get more foolproof), and the balm-like product transforms into an ultra-smooth, matte-but-not-chalky layer that perfects skin texture and delivers intense pigment that blends out beautifully. It’s also beautiful as a lip color.” —SS

Davines Curl Building Serum, $30, available here: “I find most curly styling products to be overkill, either weighing down my hair or giving it too much crunchy definition, but this is the rare exception. ‘Serum’ is the perfect descriptor; it does everything it needs to do — keeping my curls soft, shiny and elastic for more than one day — and nothing it doesn’t.” —DM

YSL Rouge Volupté Shine Lipstick Balm in 161 Rosewood Beat, $43, available here: “This shade is a new addition to YSL’s Rouge Volupté Shine Lipstick lineup, and I’m obsessed. One swipe delivers the prettiest dose of brown-tinged pink (a suitable nude for my coloring) that has just enough of a sheen to make it feel elevated. I also love that the balm-like formula keeps my lips feeling moisturized and comfy all night long.” —SS

Mielle Organics Avacado Moisturizing Hair Milk, $13, available here: “I’ve been testing out different hair moisturizers, but I think I’ve officially found The One. As someone with an incredibly thick texture that absorbs moisture like a sponge, this ‘milk’ goes a surprisingly long way. It keeps my hair hydrated throughout the day, not to mention it makes it for great styling cream.” —JS

Benefit Porefessional Unblocked Makeup-Removing Cleansing Oil, $39, available here: “You never know quite what you’re going to get when a color cosmetics brand dips its toe into skin care, but Benefit’s Porefessional range has impressed me. While I’m already a fan of many of the pore-focused formulas, it’s this cleansing oil that quickly became a staple in my routine. The thick-ish texture means it doesn’t drip through my fingers before I can even get it onto my face (very important), and it thoroughly dissolves makeup in just a few seconds. I like to take the opportunity to give myself a full facial massage as I use it, letting the oil really get up in my pores to de-gunk them. When I wipe it away with a damp washcloth, my skin is left smooth and super-clean, yet also comfortable, not parched or stripped.” —SS

Glamnetic Heaven Sent Super Short Press-on Nails, $19.99, available here: “I’ve just begun exploring the world of press-ons and am so far very impressed by these: They’re easy to apply, look just like a gel manicure, and have lasted well over a week.” —DM

Hero Cosmetics Pore Release Blackhead Solution, $20, available here: “I recently ran out of my beloved BHA exfoliator — yes, it happens even to beauty editors! — and I decided to try this one as a stand-in. I wasn’t disappointed: The curiously blue liquid combines BHA with PHA and AHA (two other exfoliating acids) for a triple-pronged approach to pore clearing, and it’s also spiked with lotus water for a bit of calming action.” —SS

Florence by Mills True to Hue pH Adjusting Lip & Cheek Balm, $14, available here: “I’m always tickled by pH adjusting products that start off sheer and adjust on skin, and I love Millie Bobby Brown’s addition to the market. I prefer using it as a very natural-looking blush that dries down to a very pretty pale pink on my computer paper-white skin.” —LS

Ole Henriksen Banana Bright + Vitamin CC Stick, $34, available here: “I never understood the hype around eye brightening makeup, until now. This blendable little stick comes in three shades, though my favorite is Apricot, an orange-y warm beige. I’ve been swiping on a quick layer beneath my undereye concealer, and it seamlessly covers up any shadowy tinge while also working to improve it over time, thanks to the inclusion of vitamin C.” —JS

Mad Rabbit Tattoo Balm Stick, $12, available here: “The mix of shea butter, almond oil, cocoa butter, beeswax and calendula oil makes this balm super moisturizing but not sticky or waxy. Not only does it brighten even my oldest tattoos, it’s also great for softening cuticles or small dry patches and is unscented.” —LS

Ouai Thick Hair Conditioner, $32, available here: “Sometimes I forget that products don’t necessarily need to be marketed for curly hair to be great for curly hair, but this super-moisturizing, delicious-smelling Ouai conditioner has served as a reminder.” —DM

Nécessaire The Body Cream, $45, available here: “I’m a longtime fan of Nécessaire’s OG body lotion, but this denser, even more restorative formula is a perfect match for my dry winter skin. With a luxuriously buttery texture and ingredients like niacinamide (for skin barrier support), colloidal oatmeal (to soothe) and five different ceramides (for moisture and protection), it’s a genuine treat for my parched arms and legs.” —SS

Urban Skin Rx Even Tone Barrier Repair Ceramide Moisturizer, $24, available here: “Between getting a chemical peel and spending too much time in moisture-devoid spaces (hello, overheated NYC apartments), my skin needed a little (okay, a lot) of extra help hanging onto hydration this month. This moisture barrier-supporting face cream is packed with ceramides and squalane, so it works overtime to replenish, soothe and protect complexions that have been through it. Using it regularly helped my skin become calm, hydrated and happy.” —SS

Guess Seductive Red for Women Eau de Toilette, $65, available here: “This perfume combines literally all of my favorite scents into one — almond, cherry, tonka, sandalwood and vanilla — and it does it so, so well.” —LS

Payot Paris Hydra 24+ Moisturizing Reviving Eyes Roll On, $35, available here: “I am forever attempting to de-puff and de-pigment my undereyes, and this little rollerball-topped tube is the latest in my arsenal of tools aiding that mission. The cooling metal massager feels incredible, and the lightweight gel inside — which uses creatine to boost cell turnover as well as vitamins C and E for antioxidant protection and pigment inhibition — is also lovely. ” —SS

Not Your Mother’s Bond Building Curl Talk Shampoo, $8.99, available here and Conditioner, $8.99, available here: “Since finally using curl-specific wash, I’ve noticed a difference in the shine and bouncy texture of my hair. This specific duo makes my hair feel ultra-silky after washing.” —BF

Nudy Rudy Sea. Salt. Suds. Bar Soap Puck, $19.50, available here: “I was on the hunt for some new soap when I came across this soft-lathering one. It’s moisturizing and has me smelling like an ocean breeze, to the point it actually makes me miss the beach (uh oh, my Floridian roots are showing).” —JS

Christian Siriano Women’s Silhouette Eau de Parfum Spray, $89, available here: “This was love at first smell. It’s a rosy delight with notes of wood and moss that give it a special floral complexity. And its staying power is a whole other conversation.” —AB

Benefit Cosmetics The Porefessional: Super Setter Pore-Minimizing Setting Spray, $33, available here: “This setting spray has been one of the MVPs of my makeup routine lately. After finishing my foundation, I do a spritz, then go back in with my face sponge to really smooth everything out. I spray my face one more time once I complete the entire routine, and it keeps my makeup pretty locked in tight.” —BF
