Position Overview:
The Operations Manager will oversee and streamline the overall operations of Tabayer’s business, focusing on wholesale, e-commerce, and event management. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational efficiency across all aspects of the business, including managing brand collaborations, working with creative agencies, overseeing invoicing and payments, and supporting the sales team and agents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury retail or fine jewelry, with a focus on project management, operational processes, and financial oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
● Wholesale Operations Support: Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth operations within Tabayer’s wholesale network. Provide operational support to sales agents, ensuring efficient order processing, timely delivery, and inventory control for wholesale accounts.
● Event Management: Project manage Tabayer’s brand events, including trade fairs, customer trunk shows, and other high-profile events. Coordinate logistics, vendor partnerships, timelines, and budgets to ensure seamless execution and maximum brand exposure.
● Brand Collaborations: Manage end-to-end execution of brand collaborations, working closely with external partners to define the scope, deliverables, and timelines. This includes collaborating with creative agencies to produce photo shoots, campaigns, and content that align with the brand’s vision.
● Invoicing & Payments: Oversee all invoicing and payment processes for the business, ensuring that all invoices are accurate, timely, and compliant with company policies. Maintain organized records of payments, track outstanding invoices, and follow up with customers and partners as needed.
● Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement: Develop and implement operational best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline workflows across wholesale, e-commerce, and event management activities. Continuously evaluate and refine operational systems and processes.
● Customer Service & Satisfaction: Ensure that Tabayer delivers exceptional customer service to both wholesale clients and end consumers. Address any operational issues impacting the customer experience and provide solutions to maintain high satisfaction levels.
● Organize & Archive: Regularly archive and organize all Tabayer shared folders, ensuring that all operational, financial, and creative documents are up-to-date and easily accessible to relevant team members.
● Reporting & Analytics: Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to wholesale, e-commerce, and event management operations. Track sales trends, customer feedback, and operational performance to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills:
● Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, with at least 2 years in a similar role in luxury retail, fine jewelry, or a related field. Experience in wholesale operations, brand collaborations, and event management is highly desirable.
● Luxury Retail Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the luxury retail industry, particularly in fine jewelry, and a strong understanding of the unique challenges and expectations of high-end clientele.
● Project Management: Strong project management skills with experience organizing and executing brand events, trade fairs, or customer-facing experiences. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while staying within budget and meeting deadlines.
● Financial Acumen: Experience managing invoicing and payment processes. Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to handle financial documentation efficiently.
● Operational Excellence: Proven track record in managing and optimizing operational processes across multiple business functions, including inventory management, supply chain, and customer service.
● Sales Support: Ability to collaborate closely with sales teams, including supporting sales agents in the field, ensuring smooth communication, and addressing operational issues impacting sales performance.
● Brand & Agency Collaboration: Experience managing creative partnerships and collaborating with agencies to produce marketing campaigns, photo shoots, and digital content.
● Technology Proficiency: Experience working with e-commerce platforms, ERP systems, and other operational tools. Familiarity with CRM systems and online retail best practices is a plus.
● Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and challenges.
● Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders.
● Languages: Fluency in English is required. Additional languages are a plus.
Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000, depending on experience.
