Position Overview: TABAYER is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our fine jewelry production process. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in fine jewelry production, with a strong emphasis on managing overseas manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of jewelry production processes, quality control standards, and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
● Production Oversight: Manage the end-to-end production process of fine jewelry pieces, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and production timelines.
● Vendor and Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international vendors and suppliers. Negotiate pricing, lead times, and quality standards to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
● Quality Control: Implement and uphold rigorous quality control procedures throughout the production process to maintain the brand’s high-quality standards.
● Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of raw materials, components, and finished products. Ensure accurate tracking and management of stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
● Production Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed production schedules, coordinating with design, sales, and other departments to align production timelines with market demands and sales forecasts.
● Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
● Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
● Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all production activities comply with industry regulations and company policies. Prepare and present regular reports on production status, challenges, and achievements to senior management.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
● Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in fine jewelry production management, with a proven track record of overseeing overseas manufacturing operations.
●Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of fine jewelry production processes, materials, and quality standards.
● Vendor Relations: Demonstrated experience in managing relationships with international vendors and suppliers, including negotiation and contract management.
● Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing production teams.
● Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address production challenges effectively.
● Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline) is preferred.
Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000, depending on experience.
