This Fall 2019 trend is here to stay.
The street style crowd has been pulling out all of the sartorial stops this Milan Fashion Week: So far, we’ve seen unconventional florals everywhere and several over-the-knee boots. Over the weekend, showgoers gave their wild prints a rest in favor of sumptuous leather looks in vivid hues, like a bright green midi skirt or a burgundy maxi. We also spotted a head-to-toe buttery-soft blush ensemble, and one attendee clad in navy high-waisted leather pants, which she smartly paired with a denim button-down.
We first noticed this street style-approved trend on the Fall 2019 runways in New York on a series of rich-looking trench coats and pantsuits. But a rainbow sampling of the soft material reappeared during the Spring 2020 season in Milan, proving that you can wear dyed leather all year round.
