Regina King's Prada Look Is Making Us Want to Wear Head-to-Toe Florals

The “Watchmen” star attended HBO’s Summer TCA Panels to promote her new series.

Regina King attended HBO’s Summer TCA Panels on Wednesday to promote her new show “Watchmen,” adapted from the noir-style superhero comic. And while her starring role is more aligned with “masked vigilante,” King’s head-to-toe floral look, from Prada’s Pre-Fall 2019 collection, tells a much different story. Not that we have a problem with that — if anything, it’s making us want to take advantage of the summer-friendly print as much as we can through the rest of the season.

We’d take a few style tips from King, too, whose look was masterminded by power duo Wayman and Micah: A pair of silver heels, hoops and matching statement rings add more to the ensemble without overpowering it. Plus, her purple-hued braids nicely complement her outfit’s color scheme, which is also making us wonder if we should reach for some Manic Panic before fall gets here. Maybe we’ll just stick with the florals — for now at least.
