Only Ayo Edebiri Could Make a Pastel Capri Suit Look This Chic

Leading up to the July 14 release of “Inside Out 2,” Ayo Edebiri — who voices the role of Envy — brought her character to life at the film’s Los Angeles premiere on Monday night, walking the purple carpet in a pastel blue Bottega Veneta suit reminiscent of her animated counterpart. 

Styled by Danielle Goldberg, the three-piece ensemble is a custom iteration of a look from the brand’s Pre-Fall 2024 lineup, made up of a grain de poudre blazer, a celadon silk shirt and perfectly on-trend capri trousers, all in a light shade of blue to match Envy’s coloring in the film. She accessorized with black patent Cha Cha mules. 

Matthieu Blazy’s Bottega Veneta has been a recent favorite of the actor’s. She wore the brand on the red carpet to the 2024 BAFTAs and off-duty ahead of her “Saturday Night Live” performance. (I mean, seriously: Who can forget her outfit featuring the blood-red leather tie — a moment that looked straight out of an ad spot?) Now all that’s left is to actually get a contract in the works.
