BTS’ V named Cartier brand ambassador
Global superstar Kim Taehyung, aka V from BTS, has been tapped as the newest face of Cartier. In his first official duty as brand ambassador, V made stars in a campaign for its Panthère de Cartier line. “When it came to embodying the magnetism and aura of the panther, our choice naturally fell on V. He has the look and strength of character,” Cartier SVP Chief MKG Officer Arnaud Carrez shared in a statement. “A personality whose choices are guided by creativity as a dancer, musician or art lover, with this style and this elegance that belong only to him.” {Fashionista inbox}

‘Barbie’ costume designer launches shop with Thredup
As the “Barbie” hype reaches an all-time high, Thredup tapped the film’s costume designer Jacqueline Durran to curate the #Barbiecore Dream Shop featuring over 250 items shopped by Durran herself. Theophilio launches swimwear

Tarte CEO on the evolution influencer trips
Maureen Kelly, the CEO and founder of Tarte Cosmetics, chatted with Business of Fashion‘s Malique Morris about influencer trips. Bringing content creators to the likes of Dubai to Turks and Caicos, #trippinwithtarte has become a signature of the makeup brand, as influencers become an even bigger piece of the puzzle when it comes to building brand awareness. Chanel to show Métiers d’art collection in Manchester 
Chanel has announced the runway showing of its 2023/2024 Métiers d’art collection will take place Dec. 7 in Manchester, UK. Métiers d’art has been shown every year since 2002, and is dedicated to celebrating the savoir-faire of the brand’s global artisans. Last year’s show took place in Dakar. {Fashionista inbox}
