How brands make the most of sample sales
Sample sales are no longer exclusive events for those in the fashion industry as brands are increasingly promoting these events as a marketing strategy. While some brands opt for a specialist like 260 Sample Sale when putting together a sale, others like Lisa Says Gah hosts its two sales a year in-house to build better relationships with shoppers. Some sample sale platforms brand themselves as elevated alternatives to off-price channels, like Alfargo’s Marketplace, which hosts its sales at members-only club NeueHouse in New York and offers tailoring and custom embroidery. {Business of Fashion/paywalled}
