Have press tours turned into costume parties?
Recent red carpets have been packed with “method dressing” — from Margot Robbie‘s recreations of classic Barbie doll looks to Zendaya‘s tennis-themed “Challengers” ensembles. For Vogue Business, José Criales-Unzueta traces the roots of the method dressing trend back to Zendaya’s “Spiderman: Homecoming” and “The Greatest Showman” press tour outfits, masterminded by Law Roach. As other stars have followed Zendaya’s lead and applied method dressing to their own press tours, Criales-Unzueta asks: “Has ‘method dressing’ gone too method?” {Vogue Business/paywalled}
