Margot Robbie Matched Her Eye Makeup to Her Dress

And now we, too, *must* try orange eye shadow.

“Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood” may be getting mixed reviews as a film, but whatever else it bestows upon the world, it has also enabled Margot Robbie to wear a slew of really excellent red carpet looks for all of us to appreciate. Most recently, she attended the London premiere, where she wore a terracotta orange gown by Oscar de la Renta with a plunging neckline, billowing scarf and softly pleated skirt.

The garment itself would have made for a top-notch fashion moment all on its own, but then Robbie (and her talented styling team, helmed by Kate Young) went and made things even better by matching her eye shadow to it. Makeup artist Pati Dubroff swept sunset-colored tones across the actress’s lids, focusing a similar orange shade on most of the eye and accenting the outer corners with a purple-y mauve.

Orange makeup has been somewhat of a theme for Robbie throughout the press tour; she mimicked the warm hues depicted in the “Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood” poster during multiple public appearances, notably wearing orange eye shadow at the film’s Los Angeles premiere as well. Our mission to recreate this look begins now.
