Forward Artists is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer in Los Angeles to join our Art Department.
**Candidates must be local to the Los Angeles area and can commute.**
In this role, the designer will assist with the day-to-day responsibilities of the department ranging from the execution and roll out of assets for a variety of projects including, but not limited to, artist’s online portfolios, image archives, corporate and marketing materials, motion graphics, and social media.
The Junior Graphic Designer reports to the Director, Art Department.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 1-3 years experience as a graphic designer
• Must be creative and think outside the box
• Fluency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Knowledge and experience in After Effects and motion editing
• Experience in Keynote
• Experience in Social Media
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative professional design work, talent, and imagination
• Impressive typography and layout skills with an excellent understanding of color and white space
• Highly organized with an exceptional eye for detail
• Must be flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Proficiency on a Mac computer using Microsoft 365.
• A strong interest in fashion and celebrity.
COMPENSATION
Hourly $22-$26/hr + overtime

ADDITIONAL DETAILS
While the corporate office is in Los Angeles, the Art Department is in West Hollywood in a small, casual, pet-friendly environment. In-Office to start with the possibility of Hybrid. Candidates must be local to the Los Angeles area and can commute.
