WWAKE is a contemporary fine jewelry brand located in Brooklyn, NY. We are a small, fast-growing company seeking a highly organized Quality Control Specialist. The Quality Control Specialist will directly support our Production team by tracking production details and quality throughout our Midtown production channels on a day-to-day basis. This individual will excel with a precise attention to detail, time management skills, energetic demeanor, and great communication skills!
Responsibilities:
● Assist in coordinating and tracking the production of wholesale and e-comm orders, acting as a liaison between sales, in-house production, and contracted vendors
● Liaising with midtown vendors on a daily basis
● Responsible for keeping track of and coordinating materials between various vendors to enable a smooth production workflow
● Clearly communicate potential issues to the Production Manager that could lead to orders coming out late or incorrect
● Regularly review raw materials and track stone quantities with our manufacturing vendor to ensure inventory levels are maintained
● Manage quality control on all standard production pieces coming from all production avenues
● Communicate QC issues through our production channels and have them fixed by at least two days before ship date.
● Coordinate with Production Operations Team to ensure orders make it to various sales channels before due date
Qualifications:
● Availability to work 5 days a week, M-F, in person with the ability to travel to Midtown daily from our Brooklyn office
● Knowledge and passion about jewelry fabrication
● Ability to work on a small team, flexible, team-oriented
● Strong communicator
● Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented
● Ability to prioritize work flow & have good time management skills
● Proficient in Monday.com and Google Sheets
Compensation: $18 -$20 /hr, depending on experience
