Overview: Womenswear designer WRAY is looking for an e-commerce and direct sales specialist to manage our online sales platform, develop, track, and strategize e-commerce marketing efforts, collaborate directly with our marketing team, and handle direct-sale customers. As a website optimization specialist, you will ensure that the brand message is consistent across all online platforms, analyze data regarding the online customer, and use your findings to improve your strategies. Additional responsibilities include using these findings to assist with production and design.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain e-commerce site via online platform Shopify based on customer and competitor analysis, including navigation optimization and copy development
  • Analyze direct sales, online marketing efforts, social media channel engagement, and e-commerce activity in order to effectively produce marketing strategies in an effort to increase sales
  • Use data analysis to create and keep a promotions calendar and share with the marketing team in order to produce effective, consistent ads
  • Design and schedule bi-weely marketing campaigns in accordance with promotional calendar
  • Demonstrate extensive product and brand knowledge by serving as the key contact for direct-sale customers
  • Manage all direct-sale customers, including processing orders, returns, exchanges, and appointments
  • Assist with creation of purchase orders for online store based on direct-sale analysis
  • Assist with design and production using knowledge of direct-sale customer and buying habits
  • Hire and manage interns

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years experience in the fashion industry; e-commerce, direct-sale, or marketing preferred
  • Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platform
  • Basic Photoshop skills
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational efforts
  • Understanding of the e-commerce landscape and customer
  • Eager to learn about multiple facets of the fashion industry
