I’m embarrassed to admit the extent to which I love a good seasonal pumpkin candle. Fall is my favorite season, what can I say? But should your scent preferences lean a little less pie-adjacent and a bit more elevated, let me introduce you to my latest favorite candle encounter: the Nette x Crown Affair Take Your Time Candle, a lovely fresh floral created in a collaboration between the two beloved beauty brands.
One of the things that made me a fan of Crown Affair‘s stellar lineup of hair products in the first place was its signature scent, a delightful and sensorial fresh floral with just a hint of woodiness and fruitiness. The brand partnered with Nette to create a burnable home fragrance version of the aroma, and it’s just as lovely.

While I’m not always a huge floral fragrance fan, this one draws me in because it’s both refreshing and balanced: In addition to lemon blossom and peony, it also incorporates notes of bergamot, cedarwood and amber. It’s also thoroughly modern, unlike some of the dowdier floral eaus I tend to avoid.
Like all of Nette’s home fragrance offerings, the Take Your Time Candle is made from a natural coconut and soy wax blend with a burn time of up to 55 hours. I also love that the candle comes clad in a pale green hand-thrown ceramic vessel that makes for the perfect visual representation of the olfactory experience of burning it. (I also already can’t wait to upcycle it as a keepsake once I’ve burned through all the wax.)
