Fashion Week street style always offers plenty of outfits to admire and instantly paste onto a mood board. This Milan Fashion Week, however, it wasn’t exactly an “It” item or particular styling trick that took over the Italian city. Instead, it was several sets of twins — both literal and sartorial — who conquered the sidewalks in matching everything — from sunglasses to hairstyles to poses.
If a pair didn’t seem to be biologically related, the theme of dressing in sync remained present. Friends wore the same top but styled with a different pair of bottoms, for instance, while couples matched their ensembles via fabrications and subtle details in their accessories.
