This Timeless Floral Perfume Will Have Everyone Asking You What You're Wearing

Fragrances are like wearable works of art: They can tell stories, draw inspiration from the past, and imagine a brighter, bolder, and more optimistic future based on their notes and, of course, the wearer. And while some fragrances can stand the test of time, few can actually be called a game-changer. Giorgio Armani My Way is one that’s earned the title.

This unique eau de parfum is a fragrance of both the present and the future: Not only does it impart a bright, floral scent to the person wearing it, but it also does so in a way that’s carbon neutral, making it forward-thinking and proactive. My Way isn’t only unique in that respect, though. Each part of it has been thoughtfully considered, making for a fragrance that’s both individual and innovative. Best of all, it smells beautiful — with the citrusy feel of bergamot and the heady floral of tuberose, it makes for a scent worth asking about. Ahead, exactly what makes it so remarkable.

The Inspiration

While many floral fragrances can fall into the classic category, this blend is a more modern take. It’s made to express femininity without compromising independence, all while keeping sustainability top of mind. With consciously sourced ingredients, it speaks to enjoying fragrance (and the power of scent) in a meaningful way.

The Notes

My Way is a bouquet of white florals, making for a fresh, light fragrance that doesn’t fade. For a citrusy opening, the top notes are orange blossom and bergamot, followed by a heart of tuberose and jasmine. To add warmth and depth, the base notes are a blend of vanilla, white musk, and cedar—for a woody base.

The ingredients behind these notes are also responsibly sourced from around the world. The orange blossom, for instance, is extracted from bitter orange fruits (hand-picked in Egypt) through a natural process, while the tuberose flowers are sourced and picked by hand in Mysore, India. Meanwhile, the vanilla is sourced through a program in Madagascar that’s designed to support local underprivileged communities.

The Bottle

Along with carefully sourced ingredients inside the fragrance, the bottle itself has been made with sustainability in mind. It’s designed to be endlessly refillable, which reduces carbon emissions by 60% and cuts 64% of plastic.

Not only that, but Giorgio Armani has also committed to programs for forest preservation in areas like Madagascar, Zimbabwe, Peru, and Brazil. In fact, since the launch of My Way, 25,000 hectares of forest have been preserved, which further encourages biodiversity and helps shrink its environmental footprint—making it carbon neutral.

Ultimately, Giorgio Armani My Way is unique both in its scent and its mission, making it a fragrance that doesn’t require compromise. And if that’s not luxurious, we’re not sure what is.
