An Internet-beloved fashion item is making quite the splash IRL at fashion week.
Outside of the Fall 2023 shows in New York and London, Totême‘s embroidered scarf jacket is emerging as the favored coat of the fashion crowd. It’s been spotted in a range of colorways, from classic black to light grey and olive, after receiving much acclaim online since first dropping more than a year ago (and inspiring many a dupe).

Totême’s embroidered scarf jacket has become a signature and customer favorite, with certain colorways often sold out on its website. (The Stockholm-based brand was founded by former blogger Elin Kling and Karl Lindman in 2014.) The oversized wool-blend coat with an attached scarf retails for $1,010.

If you’re on TikTok, the coat’s popularity among fashion week showgoers probably comes as no surprise: Despite its steep price tag, the style — referred to as the Toteme Scarf Jacket, That Toteme Jacket or simply the Toteme Coat — has become a favorite among the platform’s most stylish users, who unbox it, review it, style it and find dupes for it. (The Toteme tag alone has over 15 million views on TikTok.)
