As someone who loves layering and coziness, summertime dressing can present a number of challenges. I often find myself at a loss for what to wear when temperatures soar — which they’ve been doing quite a bit in New York City lately. One foolproof warm-weather wardrobe solution? A co-ord set.
I recently came upon Dissh’s Dark Elle Dark Chocolate Vest and Tailored Shorts, and I’m confident it’s the answer to all my summer dressing conundrums. The longline, v-neck vest has a cinched, hourglass-like shape, while the matching tailored shorts fall at hip height and skim away from the body. As an ensemble, it’s laid-back but polished, and simple but not boring. It’s also heatwave-friendly, given it leaves arms and legs bare, has a roomy fit, and comes in sweat-stain-proof colorway.
