These Monse Strappy Sandals Might Have Converted Lea Into a Fringe Fanatic

“Might” is the operative word here.

Monse Strappy Tweed Sandals, $590, available here.

I’ll be frank: I’ve never been one for fringe, unless it’s on jeans. If it’s on jeans, it adds a bit of welcomed flare to an otherwise boring-but-necessary closet essential. Fringe anywhere else makes me feel like I’m smack-dab in the middle of Coachella, which is a place I never want to venture to, ever.

So it came as a complete surprise to me that these stiletto sandals from Monse may have made me rethink my adversarial relationship with fringe. Potentially. The shoe’s thin straps and sleek, high heel gives me the modernity that I feel fringe things often lack, and the woven motif in navy blue and white is something between boho and preppy, which just so happens to be my style’s happy place.

Now, I’m not saying you’ll see me in a full-on fringe get-up anytime soon. I still have my pride! But if I ever manage to get my hands on these heels, you just might be witnessing the start of what could very well be one of my potential closet essentials. Potential.
