I’m getting married in November, and let’s just say the wedding-industrial complex has officially infiltrated my life.

I already have my actual wedding dress sorted, but putting together all of the ancillary looks — welcome party! rehearsal dinner! — and accessories has become a bit of a current obsession. (“Why are you literally always looking exclusively at white clothing?” my fiancé recently asked me, after approximately the 200th time he’d leaned over my shoulder to see what I was scrolling on my phone that had me so transfixed.)

Like many 2023 brides, I’ve been deep in the trenches of Pinterest, bridal styling accounts like Little White Looks and, of course, Sofia Richie’s Instagram. Occasionally, a piece will catch my eye that becomes an instant must-have fixation. Most recently, that’s the Loeffler Randall Malia Curved-Heel Sandal in Cream. These satin block-heel sandals are my dream wedding shoes, and it seems that’s also the case for plenty of other shoppers, as I’m currently left holding out for a re-stock in my size.

This style is classic and simple in exactly the way I hope my entire bridal look will be, but I also love that there’s a subtle whiff of unexpected modernity to it. The 3.5-inch block heel is slightly curved when you look at it in silhouette, offering a fresh take on the standard block-heel sandals that have been longstanding bride (and wedding guest) staples for years.

Loeffler Randall knows its way around a bridal shoe. (Its Camellia style has ranked among the popular wedding accessories for the last few years, and the brand also recently debuted an entire bridal ready-to-wear collection.) Because the label is known for melding wear-all-day comfort with a timelessly elegant (yet modern) aesthetic, it’s become an obvious go-to for wedding looks.

I’ve had my eye on the cream colorway for obvious reasons, but this style is also available in a range of neutrals and metallics. Given that summer wedding season is officially upon us, these would make a perfect guest shoe as well. Elegant bridal sandals that allow you to dance the night away, won’t sink into the grass during the ceremony and happen to have a little bit of an interesting quirk to them? I’ll go ahead and consider one thing on my endless wedding planning to-do list covered.
