This time of year often brings with it some skin-care frustration for me. With drying heat cranking indoors and harsh, cold winds to contend with outside, my face is usually left red, irritated and in serious need of moisture. That’s why I’m glad I got my hands on a jar of Krave‘s Oat So Simple Water Cream — a lightweight, no-frills face cream — recently.

This product also made an appearance in our roundup of Fashionista editors’ favorite beauty discoveries for November (Liza is a big fan of it, too) and now I’m here to echo her thoughts and sing its praises once again. With a streamlined ingredient list that includes squalane to moisturize and oat extract to calm, the non-sticky, non-greasy formula is a one-step winter skin savior. Since incorporating it into my routine a few weeks ago, it’s helped keep my complexion smooth, hydrated and even a bit dewy through travel, cold weather and that aforementioned moisture-sapping heat.
