The Callaway Is Hiring An Account Manager In Nashville, TN

The Callaway’s Account Manager will work closely with the Managing Director to develop expanded press strategy for the agency’s varied lifestyle clients. The AM’s key role will be garnering frequent, unique and meaningful press for the agency’s clients and supporting the senior team by ensuring all agency databases and processes run as efficiently as possible. This role will be supported by an intern to assist with reporting, list building, and clipping, as possible.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Three to five years of experience in communications with a preferred focus on fashion, hospitality and/or lifestyle brands. Strong relationships with junior to mid-level editors LOCAL, NATIONAL? and experience developing and writing press pitches is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Client communication

  • Lead daily communication with clients including:
    ▪ Handling all communication regarding sample requests and loans
    ▪ Communicating with clients to arrange feature needs including interviews and assets
  • ▪ Building gifting lists for clients surrounding product launches

  • Lead:
    ▪ Daily media monitoring
    ▪ Clipping and client clip emails
    ▪ Monthly reporting
    ▪ Product launch and store opening outreach

● Press development

  • Continually scan digital and print media for new places for TC to pitch client stories or features
  • Develop unique and original feature strategies, personalized for each client. Suggest online and print publications and contacts that have not been pitched before
  • Draft individualized feature pitches for review by Managing Director on a case by case basis

● List management

  • Continually update master fashion, beauty, hospitality, food and lifestyle lists
  • Continually update robust list of local and national bloggers across all lifestyle categories to be considered for future client partnership
  • Build lists of trade shows, awards and partnership opportunities for clients as needed

● Events

  • Coordination of details leading up to events including RSVP tracking, press monitoring and asset development
  • Day-of prep including organization of printed materials, load-in coordination and miscellaneous details
  • On-site event management with team

● Social Media

  • Create social media planning service account (such as Sprout Social, Planoly, etc.) with approval from The Callaway senior team and manage all scheduling and engagement
  • Develop social media strategy for clients, including audit of previous social media presence, proposed follower growth, sample social media feed with updated imagery and content calendar
  • Develop unique social media programming for clients within the content calendar, including copy and imagery
  • Assist account director with TC Instagram account, providing creative ideas for content and imagery
  • Assist account director with influencer strategy, contracts and ideas for collaborations for all relevant clients
  • Make suggestions for new influencers to follow and interact with notables on client Instagram accounts for several hours each week to grow followings

● New business

  • Work with Managing Director to draft proposals for new business
