The Best Looks From the 2024 Fashion Awards Red Carpet

Thanksgiving may be over, but for the sartorial hungry, another feast has arrived. On Monday in London, the 2024 Fashion Awards officially kicked off award season, with the industry’s biggest names and celebrities pulling out all the stops on the red carpet. 

Rihanna, per usual, became the night’s most talked about attendee in her striking blue vintage Christian Lacroix Haute Couture fur coat dress and matching oversized hat (very ’90s Pamela Anderson). She arrived alongside a Bottega Veneta-clad ASAP Rocky, recipient of the event’s the Cultural Innovator Award. Also stealing the sartorial spotlight was Indian billionaire Mona Patel, who dazzled in vintage Christian Lacroix Haute Couture, too.

Overall, there were a mix of styles and aesthetics among the massive guest list: Some opted for matching sets (Venus Williams‘ Thom Browne suit and Jourdan Dunn‘s Christian Dior short set), while others went for glamorous gowns (Nicola Coughlan in Gaurav Gupta, Simone Ashley in Prada and Jodie Turner-Smith in Burberry). There were also a handful of sultry sheer moments, like Ming Lee Simmons’ transparent take on a Qipao dress by Saulee, Julia Fox’s see-through Dilara Findikoglu gown and Ashley Graham’s tulle Blumarine number, which marked new Creative Director David Koma’s red-carpet debut.
