The red carpet was as exciting as the ceremony, which had some surprise appearances.
The 34th annual GLAAD Media Awards — which honors media that helps the world understand the LGBTQ+ community — had royally good fashion on its carpet on Thursday night.
Gabrielle Union wore a colorful hooded gown by Moschino (likely one of the last Jeremy Scott designs for the house we’ll see?), while stepdaughter Zaya Wade went for a monochromatic look with gladiator sandals (by Miu Miu, of course). Giving menswear an edge, Joel Kim Booster donned a Salt Murphy suit with an angle-cropped jacket.
The ceremony had its own fun moments, like when Jennifer Coolidge made an iconic (and surprise) appearance on stage, sharing jokes that riffed off her “White Lotus” character.
