The 27 Best-Dressed Dolls From the 'Barbie' World Premiere

It’s the party of the year! And as we inch closer and closer to the July 21 premiere of “Barbie,” all the Barbies and Kens — plus a few additional dolls — walked the red carpet in Los Angeles, and their looks did not disappoint.

Whether recreating dresses worn by vintage Barbies or sporting her preferred color palette, the cast really seized the sartorial opportunity. Margot Robbie, who plays the titular role, continued her streak of custom-made looks taken from actual dolls of the past — this time embodying the 1960 “Solo In The Spotlight” Barbie in custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture, styled by creative genius/now-unofficial Barbie historian Andrew Mukamal. Issa Rae, Kate McKinnon and director Greta Gerwig, meanwhile, went for hot-pink Barbiecore moments.
