I may be from the frigid land of Chicago, but I’m not immune to the onslaught of cold weather that befalls New York each winter. Sure, temperatures feel milder than in my youth, likely thanks to the climate crisis and corresponding existential dread. But I still need something to bundle up in that doesn’t sacrifice style. Enter Telfar‘s latest extremely cool take on a puffer jacket. The brand first ventured into the category in 2021 via a collaboration with Moose Knuckles; last year, it went at it solo. Now, Telfar’s bringing back its puffers for winter in new, eye-catching colors: bright cobalt and caution-tape yellow.
I love the Puff for more than its fun colors: It’s special for how, true to Telfar’s DNA, it remixes and elevates the classic hoodie. Made with a cotton upper, it boasts the insulation of a coat thanks to its puffer body, stuffed with duck down. (And you can make it part of a head-to-toe look with a puffer headband and some very groovy puffer pants.)

Telfar may have initially exploded in popularity thanks to its shopping bag, but the label has so much more to offer. Imagine wearing this puffer-hoodie hybrid with some wrap-around sunglasses — nobody would match your fly.
