When you plan the perfect outfit for your “Renaissance” tour date, it only makes sense for you to carry a bag that’s just as perfect — and compliant with arena policy. Luckily, Telfar and Brazilian footwear brand Melissa have joined forces to bring you the clear Shopping Bag of your dreams.
Most concert venues have strict rules around bags, with showgoers only able to bring clear bags inside. (MetLife in New Jersey, for instance, where Beyoncé’s bringing “Renaissance” on July 29, allows “clear bags that are 12″ x 6″ x 12″ or less in size” or “small purses/handbags (clutch-type bags) that are 4.5″ x 6.5″ or less in size.” From a fashion standpoint, that can be pretty limiting.
The translucent Telfar x Melissa bag, dubbed the “Telly Jelly,” is rendered in 100% PVC in a futuristic purple hue, effortlessly complementing the techno and metallic aesthetic of Beyoncé‘s electro-pop-sprinkled album. It comes in small (5 5/8″ x 7 ¼” x 3 ¾”) medium (10.5″ x 13″ x 4 ½”) and large (11 ¾” x 16.5″ x 4 ¾”) sizes, with prices ranging from $150 to $250. There’s also a pair of matching Jelly Slides, retailing for $100.

The medium and large sizes may be pushing it, but the small is perfect for many arena shows. (Always check the venue-specific rules ahead of time!) Beyond looking good, the transparent accessory will make you feel all the more cool at the “Renaissance” tour when Beyoncé sings the symbolic “Summer Renaissance” lyrics: “This haute couture I’m flaunting, this Telfar bag imported.”
