Though Taylor Swift is still on her historic, record-breaking
“Eras” tour, she somehow finds the time to make it back to New York City between shows — to look as chic as ever on her way to the recording studio.
On Monday afternoon, the songwriter made her way to Electric Lady Studios, wearing a relaxed yet tailored (heh) high-low look: a pinstripe button-up blouse from The Row, layered over a pleated mini skirt from Free People. The “Karma” singer accessorized with a navy baseball cap to shield her face, a gray Le Petit Patou shoulder bag and dainty mixed-metal jewelry. Finished off with her signature red lip, frilly-hemmed socks and chunky leather oxfords from Malone Souliers, Swift kept it cute but comfortable above all.
As she prepares for the release of “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” on July 7 (which I will be streaming, repeatedly), we can only hope to see more stylish appearances from the “Welcome To New York” singer in the coming weeks. In the meantime, I will continue to tune in to the “Eras” live streams each weekend, keeping an eye out for any costume changes and Easter eggs.
