Based in New York City, STONE AND STRAND has a small and close-knit team, founded and run a Wharton MBA with a background in Strategy Consulting.
STONE AND STRAND is looking for an outstanding inventory expert to analyze and manage the flow of our goods from the initial purchase of raw materials, all the way through the production process ending with the full customer experience including returns and exchanges.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, a natural leader at creating and driving processes, extremely organized, have strong analytical skills and posses an exceptional level of attention to detail.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Own the complete flow of inventory from production to purchase
- Handle inventory counting processes conducted on a regular basis
- Manage inventory levels and place purchase orders as required
- Analyze sales data to make merchandizing and purchasing decisions
- Build models to forecast inventory requirements that accommodate growth
- Own relationships with our wholesale partners and ensure smooth delivery of goods
- Assess costs across the supply chain and make strategic recommendations as needed
Qualifications and Skills
- Energetic and highly motivated, able to work at a very fast pace
- Exceptional level of attention to detail
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Experienced at managing a team to drive complicated processes
- Highly analytical and proficient at building financial models in excel
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related fields
- 2+ years of professional experience in inventory management or control
