Founder: Amy Gordinier

Origin Story: After graduating from Princeton University, Amy Gordinier lived in New York and London working for some of the biggest names in beauty, from L’Oréal to Jo Malone, before moving to the Canadian coastal city of Halifax, Nova Scotia, to start a family. She soon met the great, great granddaughter of the British pharmacist who created the heritage Skinfix healing balm and she was captivated by the formula.

Gordinier founded Skinfix in 2014, and the brand’s team works closely with dermatologists to develop clinically proven skin care. The brand uses a combination of “clinically active and nutritious ingredients” for optimal skin health. All of its formulas are evaluated and approved by an independent panel of dermatologists.
