Skims and Nike Are Launching a New Fitness Brand Together

Lululemon watch out — the TikTok gym girlies have a new workout brand to add to their affiliate storefront: Nike and Skims announced Tuesday that they have joined forces to launch NikeSkims. This new performance-inspired brand blends Nike’s innovative athletic wear with Skims’ signature shapewear.

“Nike and Skims share a deep commitment to innovation, inclusivity and pushing boundaries, driven by an unwavering belief in the power of women,” Kim Kardashian, Skims co-founder and chief creative officer, said in a statement. “This partnership is the culmination of that shared vision, delivering product that is meticulously designed to sculpt and perform for everybody. Every single detail has been obsessed over and carefully considered.”

Many details, including pricing and images, have yet to be revealed. However, according to the press release, NikeSkims will deliver “an extensive fitness line” including apparel, footwear and accessories “crafted to fit every curve and enhance the body’s natural form.” The debut drop will be released in the U.S. this spring, followed by a global rollout in 2026.

This marks Nike’s first partnership with an outside company to launch a new brand, though the 60-year-old company is well known for its deals with buzzy athletes and high-fashion collaborators such as Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Naomi Osaka, Simon Porte Jacquemus and Off-White.

“We’re energized by the opportunity to build a new brand and shake things up for the next generation of athletes with NikeSkims,” Heidi O’Neill, president of consumer, product & brand at Nike Inc., said in a press statement. “This partnership brings together the best of both brands and unlocks an incredible opportunity to disrupt the industry with our shared passion and commitment to innovation. We will invite even more athletes into sport and movement with product that makes them feel strong and sexy.”

This is also a first for Skims, which has never ventured into proper fitness apparel. The athleisure brand has tapped top athletes — WNBA stars Cameron Brink, Candace Parker, Kelsey Plum and Skylar Diggins-Smith — for its viral campaigns, and it was the official underwear partner for Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics. It’s also no stranger to collaborations (The North Face, Swarovski, Fendi). Still, this will be a new, exciting unexplored market for Kardashian.

Now the question is: Which buzzy athlete(s) will have the honor to front NikeSkims’ inevitable debut campaign?
