Origin Story: Dr. Merve Yildirim-Canpolat, Ph.D. and Dr. Polen Koçak-Denizci, Ph.D., both molecular scientists, founded SickScience in 2024. After Yildirim-Canpolat’s mother was diagnosed with mesothelioma, the duo delved into research on stem cell production, regenerative medicine and the application of exosomes for cancer treatment. However, Yildirim-Canpolat’s mother died before being able to receive the treatments. Through the duo’s patented technology, NX35, they developed various treatments and applications using plant exosomes targeting hair growth, skin health and overall wellness.
To date, SickScience has launched three products: ShapeShift Jaw-Defining Serum, which visibly lifts the jawline; PowerCycle Scalp Treatment Serum, which regenerates hair growth and strength in as little as eight weeks; and DropOff Body Sculpting Serum.
