The biggest names of the film industry attended a night of celebration at ELLE‘s 26th Annual Women in Hollywood Event on Oct. 14, where renowned celebrities were joined by up-and-coming stars for a night of recognition, honoring and, of course, some stunning black carpet looks.

Plenty of our favorite celebs dressed in head-to-toe black ensembles, like Gwenyth Paltrow in Bottega Veneta and Jimmy Choo heels, Natalie Portman in Dior and Hunter Schafer in Loewe. Of course, a Hunter Schafer ‘fit wouldn’t be complete without her iconic “Euphoria” makeup; the model-turned-actress wore a wash of lavender-pink eyeshadow. Ralph Lauren had a star-studded night, dressing stars like Margot Robbie, Nicole Kidman and Sydney Sweeney in more monochromatic black looks.

And while many ladies wore all black, more opted for bright colors and neon garments. Issa Rae wore a blinding yellow Ralph Lauren gown with Bvlgari jewels and twinned with Zoey Deutch, also in Ralph Lauren. Tess Holliday donned a baby blue shift dress with a neck bow, accompanied by white square toe sandals.

Ladies took over the menswear realm at the event, too. Zendaya turned heads with a grey Peter Do suit ensemble and a gunmetal eyeshadow look. Her onscreen little sister, Storm Reid, took a move out of Zendaya’s playbook and wore a Ralph Lauren suit jacket and leather pants. The always stunning Madelaine Petsch wore a matching patterned Prada set. Lena Waithe wore a burgundy Richfresh jacket and pants with fresh white kicks.
